This is our HiFiBerry DAC+ with a pair of RCA jacks. It can be simply plugged onto your Raspberry Pi Model A+,B+ or 2B, it does not need any soldering. The DAC+ Light is based on an ESS chip set that does not have ALSA volume control. To control the volume, you need to use an application with software volume control or a a (pre-)amplifier with volume control.
